In 1994, financial advisor Russell Dow had a realization: automation could transform his business. Efficiently managing the repetitive, time-consuming processes of his work was the surest path to his own success—and his clients would reap the benefits, too.

The only problem? The technology didn’t yet exist—so he decided to design it himself. Over the next 25 years, after he finished work each day, Russell would then spend just as many hours writing the software he envisioned.

As he honed its capabilities, Russell focused on how it could best maximize the potential for clients. Over his career, he’d witnessed a variety of outcomes from different approaches to wealth management, with the greatest benefits realized by clients served by Family Offices. But establishing a coordinated team of advisors remained far beyond the means of all but the wealthiest families.
